Dealer FAQ

Straight answers about Jordan

What she does, what she costs, what happens to your data, how fast you go live. Written by a dealer in plain English. If something isn't here, ask me directly.

The product

What Jordan does on day one and how it fits with the people you already have.

  • Jordan is your AI BDC rep. She answers your dealership's phone 24/7, replies to every SMS, responds to every email lead, and books appointments straight to your calendar. She knows your inventory because she pulls live from your VDP — when a customer asks if the silver Silverado is still there, she's checking, not guessing. When a lead's hot, she warm-transfers the call right to your floor. When it's after hours, she sets the appointment and hands you a confirmed customer at 9 AM with the coffee.
  • It replaces the gap your BDC staff can't cover — nights, weekends, lunch breaks, the lead that came in while someone was on another call. The dealers having the most success run Jordan alongside one or two human BDC reps, not instead of them. Jordan catches and qualifies; your humans close.
  • Yes — on every plan. You can change Jordan's name, tone, greetings, and add house rules ("never quote a price," "always offer a test drive") from a settings page — texts and emails update instantly and the phone assistant syncs within a minute. Growth and above additionally unlock the cadence editor (number and timing of touches per campaign), the web chat widget, and multi-channel workflow tuning.
  • Inbound voice calls on every plan (Jordan answers in a real voice, 24/7), two-way SMS, and email — both inbound parsing of ADF leads and outbound replies. Outbound voice follow-up cadences are included in Growth and above (Starter gets them free for your first 60 days so you can see what they book). Web chat is Growth and above. Every conversation is unified in one inbox so your team sees the full thread no matter what channel it came in on.
  • Yes — warm transfer. You give Jordan a list of your sales floor (per-rep numbers, sales vs. service routing, after-hours line). When a caller's ready, Jordan rings the right person, announces who it is and what they want, and stays on the line until the handoff completes. If the rep doesn't pick up, she falls back to the next rep on the list or takes a message.
  • If they ask, Jordan tells the truth — she gives her name and says yes warmly, then gets right back to helping. The bet is that being genuinely useful beats being deceptive, and the appointment numbers back it up. Most customers honestly don't ask — they just want their question answered at 9 PM on a Sunday. Try the live demo and judge for yourself.
  • Jordan keeps working the lead instead of going quiet. On the next follow-up she tells them straight that the car found a new home — once, not over and over — and pivots to the closest matches still on the lot, with similar-vehicle cards in email. She never describes a sold vehicle as available on any channel. A sold car is a re-engagement moment, not a dead lead.

Pricing & guarantee

Three tiers, month-to-month, no contract. 30-day money-back guarantee on every plan.

  • Starter — $899/month. Single store, voice + SMS + email coverage on every lead, 24/7 AI answering, 500 voice minutes included. Growth — $1,499/month. Adds cadence customization, web chat widget, multi-channel workflow tuning, 1,500 voice minutes. Most dealers land here. Pro — $2,499/month standard, or $1,999/month locked-for-life as a Founding Partner. Multi-rooftop, unlimited team, dedicated onboarding, 4,000 voice minutes. The first 10 Pro signups get the Founding Partner rate. Full breakdown on the pricing page.
  • No contract. Month-to-month. Cancel any time from your dashboard. If Jordan isn't delivering more booked appointments inside of 30 days, you shouldn't be paying for her — and I don't want to be the guy holding a dealer to a contract they're not happy with.
  • No free trial — but every plan comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee. The reason we don't do free trials is that onboarding is hands-on and personal: I'm on the phone with you setting up phone forwarding, voice, and the inventory feed. I want skin in the game on both sides from day one. If Jordan isn't producing more booked appointments in your first 30 days, I refund the first month — no hoops, no fights.
  • No. Setup is included in your monthly subscription on every plan — Starter, Growth, and Pro. We provision your numbers, scrape your inventory, configure Jordan to your floor's voice and cadence, and walk you through the dashboard. All included.
  • Upgrade any time from your dashboard. We prorate the month. No re-onboarding required — your data, leads, and Jordan's tuning carry forward.
  • Past your included minutes, voice bills at 30¢/minute — and there are daily spending caps so a runaway day can't surprise you on the invoice. If you hit a cap, outbound dialing pauses until it resets while inbound answering keeps working, so a customer calling in never hits a wall. If you're consistently running over, upgrading a tier is almost always cheaper than the overage.

Setup & integration

How fast you go live and what you have to give us to make it work.

  • Voice and email start working within 48 hours of sign-up. SMS takes 2-3 weeks at the carrier level because of federal regulations on business texting (A2P 10DLC verification) — that's not us, that's every business in America trying to text customers since 2023. We coach you through it on a 15-minute call so it's painless.
  • Lead ingestion works with anything that sends ADF/XML lead emails — that covers virtually every third-party CRM, lead provider, and OEM lead source, including CarGurus, AutoTrader, Cars.com, TrueCar, and Capital One Auto Navigator: you point their lead-delivery email at your dedicated LotLink intake address and leads land in seconds. For outbound CRM sync (so your CRM sees the conversation), that's a Pro-tier integration we set up with you.
  • Dealership info (hours, address, timezone), the URL of your inventory page so Jordan can pull live VDPs, your team roster with cell numbers for warm transfers, and access to your lead sources to point them at our intake email. That's it — about 20 minutes of forms in our self-serve wizard, or 45 minutes on a call with me if you'd rather not type.
  • You get a dedicated Jordan number — that's where Jordan lives. You can either forward your existing main line to it (cleanest), or use the new number directly on your website + marketing. Most dealers forward; it keeps your printed/online phone number stable.

Guardrails & safety

What Jordan won't say, and why.

  • No. There's a deliberately-dumb regex + SQL guardrail layer that runs before any AI-generated message goes out. Jordan can't promise prices, approve financing, quote trade values, or claim a vehicle is in stock that isn't. If a customer pushes, Jordan hands off to a human and logs why. Full design walkthrough on the blog.
  • No. The booking tool checks your dealership's hours and refuses any slot that lands on a closed day or outside that day's open hours. If a customer asks for Sunday and you're closed Sunday, Jordan offers the next open day instead.
  • Every conversation is logged with the full transcript, the AI's reasoning, and which guardrails fired. If something escapes, you see it in the inbox, and a quick prompt update fixes it across every future conversation. You also have instant kill switches at every level: one click pauses every automated touch for a single customer, one click pauses a whole campaign, and an admin-only switch pauses all of Jordan's outgoing automation store-wide — while inbound answering stays on so callers never hit silence.
  • Yes. STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, and quiet-hours rules are enforced at the carrier level and in our own send-time checks. We never message a customer who opted out, and SMS is automatically deferred during your dealership's quiet hours (default 9 PM – 8 AM local). TCPA-floor compliant.

Your data

Who owns it, what happens if you leave, who else sees it.

  • You do. Every lead, every conversation, every recording is yours. Export to CSV any time from the dashboard, no fee, no questions. We never sell, rent, or share your customer data with anyone.
  • You can export everything before you cancel. After cancellation, your data is retained for 30 days (in case you change your mind), then permanently deleted from our systems. We send you a confirmation email when deletion completes.
  • Everything runs on Railway's infrastructure with Postgres on encrypted-at-rest disks, daily snapshots, and TLS in transit. Access to the dashboard is JWT-authenticated with role-based controls. Conversations are processed through Anthropic's API, which does not use our data to train its models. We never sell, rent, or share your customer data, and one dealership's data is never used for another's.

Founding Partner Program

The first ten dealers in get the best deal LotLink will ever offer.

  • The first 10 dealers to sign at Pro tier lock in $1,999/mo for life — $500/mo less than standard Pro pricing ($2,499/mo) which kicks in for dealer #11+. Founding Partner is Pro-tier only — it's not available on Starter or Growth. There's a counter on the homepage that decrements as each spot fills.
  • I'd rather have ten dealers who feel like partners than a hundred who feel like customers. The Founding Partners get extra access because their feedback shapes what gets built next. If you've got opinions on what an AI BDC should do, this is the program for you.
  • Yes — for as long as you're an active subscriber, your price doesn't go up. If you cancel and come back later, you'd come back at standard pricing.
  • Book a 15-minute call directly with me. We talk through your floor, you tell me your volume, I confirm Pro tier is the right fit, and we lock you in at $1,999/mo for life. As long as the counter on the homepage isn't at zero, you're in.
